“ Very good food and memorable gastronomy experience. The food is served in huge portions including the starter dishes. This seems to be very very common in Peru, so don’t be afraid to share a main course. ”
“ What drew me in was the interior design. Giant murals and fun decor. What kept me was the unique Amazonian food. At this point I’ve tried quite a few dishes and my favorite is the fish plate or the rice with seafood. The chips and salsa are amazing. Don’t skip on the camu camu drink either, it’s a bit tart but rich in vitamins. They had moved recently and their options have expanded but the menu wasn’t updated yet. Ask them and they will recommend a dish and show you pictures of what they offer. All the people working there (Filip, José-María, Luis and Katia) are super nice. ”
“ The food are delicious and the service are good. I ordered the plantain and chicken to the parrilla. All good! ”
“ There’s nothing like this place in Miraflores. It’s Amazonian food, so if you’re from Iquitos this will be just like your grandma made I’m sure, at least that’s what Irina tells me, and she’s from there. But seriously, this roasted banana filled with nuts and cheese, is tough to describe but has a sweet and savory balance that will leave you scraping the peel for every last molecule. I can’t even describe the other things we had because this thing stole the show. ”
“ Great Amazonian food. Cooked banana, cheese, nuts, simple and delicious. Their version of causa was very nice. Would like better cuts of fish or better fish as it was a bit stringy. Overall great flavors. ”
“ Phenomenal food from the Peruvian Jungle. A MUST try while you are in Lima. ”
“ Very nice Amazon food. Great starters. Staff uses online translation to communicate with English-speaking customers. 80-90PEN includes starters, main dish, and beer. ”
“ Such a great experience, very interesting food. I’ve never tried rain forest cuisine. I highly recommend! ”
